How to install this? Is there a magical location or an import tool?

The reason I ask is because when I force installation from the kwin script part in the settings, it installs (and mentions it is installed if I try again) but it doesn't show up as one of the scripts nor as option in the window switcher config. KWin 4.9.something btw :D

Cool. For now - where to put it? Tried the same tricks as with the maximize script but I can't find the effect anywhere... :(

Still on KWin 4.9.2 of course.

Can you provide screenshots or screencast to show how it works so that users can decide if they want it before installing, please?

     A couple of possible improvements

Martin, thanks for this switching layout, which is very nice. I have a couple of suggestions:

    1) when pressing Esc to leave the animation, the previously active window should be selected. Instead, the window that is currently highlighted in the animation gets selected

    2) when the animation starts, the window that happens to be under the mouse cursor position gets highlighted. In my opinion, mouse cursor should be used to highlight windows after the first mouse movement (i.e., if I use keyboard only, I want to ignore the mouse position)

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with QML and hence I cannot help coding these suggestions.

Hi mgraesslin. This is a very nice window switcher (my prefered one for now), but there is a little annoying thing which is:
If you have your windows switcher + the Fall Apart effect, after you switch to a window (with alt+tab) the traslucent background of your windows switcher 'falls apart' and while that is happening the image previews are still shown so you have to wait the effect to finish to see the window you just selected in the window switcher. This is a little annoying, I purpose two fixes:
    1) The image previews must be part of the entire 'entity' so when the Fall Apart effect does it's effect it should 'fall apart' everything (not only the background).
    2) Your windows switcher should not be affected by this effect (better solution but I'm not sure if it's possible).

    Thanks in advance.

     Bug?

hi, i found that using alt+` (switch only current app windows) looks like it has a bug.

After using it and closing one window with a button the other one disappears as well. After closing tabbox the window is still runing but it's minimized.

    I tested different settings.
