Description:

'Acqua' is the italian translation of the term 'Water'.
This style it's written with the old KDE pixmap engine, so it doesn't support the trasparent menu effect.

There's getting an inspiration from somethinge and then there is plagiarizing. This falls totally under Plagiarizing!

There are other ways of doing "water", then going and plagiarizing the whole f00king Apple's Aqua Style.

Like a typical clanner, the comment you have just said is lame and irrelevant. I wouldn't go as far as to say this style is infringing legalities on behalf of Apple, because it is not. I am just wondering when would somebody invent a powerful new style better than Aqua or whatever is the best at the time? KDE can do it, if it can copy aqua then it could be the next "aqua". This way KDE would become a cuban cigar rather than a cuban banana, it that analogy sits well in your head.

Hey people who can't seem get Acqua working after you've configured and installed it. I couldn't get it working either for the longest time, but I finally found it (for me at least). After you've installed it, go to KDE Control Center, go to Apperiences & Themes, go to Window Decorations, and click on IceWM, and then click on the tab Configure [IceWM]. You should see it Acqua there. Hope that helps!

hi,
i have tried to set the new theme, but it does not allow me to log into the system with KDE, i have to use GNOME ;
if i choose KDE, i just get a blue screen
without any icons, and only the mouse is active;
Distro : RH9.0
user : i dont have su previleges

kindly help asap,as im not able to use my machine with KDE;

What means it? During the ./install.sh
QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used

But the theme work fine , i think.
