all of you grow a pair of balls and learn to like linux and kde for what they are, instead of try to have them look like something else.

parent post should learn to respect others work, and dont bother with the "this isn't his/her work it's microsoft's" because it obviously took some time

ok. i can agree with you on the fact that this took time and work therefore it desirves some credit, but i do not think that this is the forum for this kind of work. Considering that this site is for linux and kde related work. and this takes kde and attempts to make it look like the competition. now dont think im just saying this because its windows though I feal the same way about the mac themes too. and I use both windows and os x as well as linux w/ kde.

I installed the RPM version on Debian via alien, which didn't work for some reason. Is there a Debian version anywhere?

 Not too bad

Personally, I actually agree with the first poster in spirit, but not in words or lack of tact.

Content-wise, I hate the XP layout. I also will mention that I dislike KDE, being a gnome user... Granted, I don't use linux to not be affronted with the windows UI, but for other reasons instead, I still find emulations of windows on *nix to be... funny...

That being said, however, graphically the theme is layed out well, and has shown a lot of work going into it. For those who actually like the XP look and feel, aside from a good psychologist recommendation, I actually would recommend this theme to them to make them feel more "at home" with their desktop. Very nice job indeed. When critiquing art, the choice of subject is at the discretion of the artist, and one may really only judge based on how well the essence of the origional is captured... As such I will extend my hand and say "Well done".

I personally like the KDE basic themes myself compared to XP. However, just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it is useless. I use this theme on a regular basis when I set up a computer for first time Linux users who will likely have a tough time with something different but can't affort MS products. It helps smooth out the learning curve for first timers.
