The toolbar is a superkaramba theme. Install superkaramba, and select use theme from hard drive. Select the file labeled winbar.theme in the winbar folder.
Best thing I could figure was to make the regular taskbar transparent, and remove all the icons from it....

I'm just curious. Can m$ file a lawsuit?

This is a pretty good clone. But if you're running gnome, this guy has improved upon xp's look

It is the most popular!

well this sucks.. - I recommend NOT installing this if you are running a knoppix 3.8 hard drive install, because it removed all the minimise, maximise, close buttons from all my windows. If anyone wants to tell me how to get these back without reinstalling everything, that would be great.

I dont mean it has no buttons, I mean that after realising that the only thing this theme changed was changing the colour of the panel to blue, and changing back to the default which I had saved as a theme, the windows were boned.

Repeat - do NOT install.

/rant

well ok, setting defaults brings the buttons back. Still pretty weird though.

i was experiencing the same problem as you and figured a way to get the buttons back without reinstalling anything. First open kcontrol and go to look'n feel (i guess that's it in english, mine is in portuguese) then go to window decoration and go to the buttons tab and mark the second box so it will enable you to customize the way they are showed, then click on minimize and drag and drop it to the end of the bar name kde just right above the button options, then add all buttons you were missing like maximize and close and click apply and here they are :D

Hope i could help you and everyone else who got the same problem

does anybody know howto change the color of the open window buttons (in taskbar) to the regular blue like under winxp ? That would be the final touch.
