Well one thing is the company, and another is the Graphic Designers. XP is superbly designed (as far as graphics and eye candy go). Learning and doing this on Linux is good, but what would be even better is the day that MS releases a theme based on an original KDE style.

Microsoft bashes linux in general (because they fear competition), linux users bash MS & Gates in paticular. Do a search on "Microsoft halloween letters" if you don't keep up with the regular firestorm.

And MS didn't design Luna by themselves. This isn't just flattery of them.

And no. It's a dual-boot.

Inncorrect. people hate linux users because we know how to use a computer. god, i am a linux diehard mostly because I am a A+ cert. technician and see the problems of windows everyday at work. i come home to some linux lovin' every night and relax knowing people like you are using their compaq restore discs every time they have a problem. I don't bash MS because they write shoddy software. I don't even bash MS because they will make money any way possible, even ripping off schools in africa. I bash MS because they made the computer accessible to people that shouldn't have it. A good example is you and all you other pricks who think by tweaking your registry you'll magically change the source code to make it more "Secure and stable". once you know how to use a computer, please post in any of the many linux forums again.

Yo, I'm an A+ cert, and I agree that wiping your ass with it is a better use than to put down people who use computers but don't know as much about them as you do. And think for a sec, since when did A+ use any software related to linux? Plus some people don't wish to delve into the depths of computers as you and I have and that's okay. You can get off your high horse and come down to earth where if you don't like M$, be happy with linux and shut up. Do realize, storm, that M$ is not the godsent angel to fall upon computers, and if you like Windows, then more power to you, but us linux diehards will stick to linux because we like TOTAL control over our box.

To the angry, lighten up.
To the stupid, smarten up.
To my kind, shut up.

I mean, while you were Sucking Bill`s
Cock right there.

Did you huh?!

Or I think your sour cause Linux can do
more than M$ and look better @ doing it.
M$ tries to hide everything from the user; Do you even know where your Desktop really is ?
cause mines in /root/Desktop
my fat filesystems are mounted in /dos1
and /dos2
If you understand that then you know what every user should
else your just a NooB to OS`s in general

I thinkfor an xp theme it's quite o.k. Could you please post the wallpaper with the passage through the trees and the yellow autumn leaves? It's cool. and it would be cooler if you would have more of them. (landscape, trees)
thanks in regards,
F

I personally prefer to give KDE a look of its own, but I guess an XP theme/style doesn't hurt anybody. As for this style: remarkably close to the real one with one big drawback: the panel looks butt ugly. And I guess that's the real problem with copying the look of other OS: You will never get it quite right.

Uh, no dude. KDE is not Windows, Windows is not KDE. If people want KDE to looks like Windows, fine, but KDE has its own default look and thats how it should stay. If you want to change it, go right ahead, but NO KDE will NOT make this Microshaft look-alike its default theme. The day they do that and i let them get away with it is the day pigs grow wings and fly on their own, no genetic engineering.

Your right if kde made a winxp theme the default there would be outrage! some of xp is pretty but the icons really cant compare to kdes crystal connectiva and the glow window decorations in kde are better than winxp itd be a nice theme to have as a change if your bored -somehow:) - of kermamik, but to second your point, kde is not windows. the theme is good btw
