Description:

KCheckGmail is a system tray application to notify you about how many email messages you have in your Gmail account.

KCheckGmail requires KDE 3.2 or later.

Comments/suggestions/bug reports welcome!

Changelog:

0.5.4
=====
o Fixed mail checking bug
o DCOP interface hack added

0.5.3a

o Fixed login procedure
o Use the correct parameters to display a message
o Polish translation added
o Updated support scripts from the kde-common HEAD

0.5.2

o Updated russian translation

0.5.1
=====

are in the Inbox. Result would be the wrong message being displayed
when selected from the Threads menu.

0.5.0
=====
o Option to use https for checking and viewing mail (see network tab)
o French and Russian translations added
o German and Italian translations updates

0.4.1

Odd... I did wait two days before posting, but as luck would have it, it has now begun working again.

Thanks.

 Can't Set password

 by BorgQueen on: Apr 4 2006

Score 50%

No matter how many time I try I can't get it to remember more than 3 characters out of the password. Each time I bring up the config dialog there are only 3 stars. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance.

 Mulitple accounts

I maintain two gmail accounts (one for lists, public things, etc, and the other for professional reasons) and it would truly be great if this application supported multiple accounts.

Right now, the only thing I've found that does this is the GMail Manager firefox extension -- which works great, but I'm currently attempting to rid myself of my firefox dependence.

Thanks, and great job on this app!

Hey, i've fixed that, there was problem in kcheckgmailtray.cpp, the developer left buggy checking for password length. The application works, seems good )
