Description:

KCheckGmail is a system tray application to notify you about how many email messages you have in your Gmail account.

KCheckGmail requires KDE 3.2 or later.

Comments/suggestions/bug reports welcome!

Changelog:

0.5.5
=====
o Bug fixes only release (authentication and old/news mails count problems fixed)

0.5.4
=====
o Fixed mail checking bug
o DCOP interface hack added

0.5.3a
=====
o Polish translation has REALLY been added this time. Have to remember to re-tag when adding a file after releasing in the future.

0.5.3
=====
o Fixed login procedure
o Use the correct parameters to display a message
o Polish translation added
o Updated support scripts from the kde-common HEAD

0.5.2

o Fixed parsing error in thread code. Everything should work again :)
o Updated russian translation

0.5.1
=====
o Fixed default translation to be english in "Configure Notifications"
o Fixed bug where msgId would get screwed up when lots of messages
are in the Inbox. Result would be the wrong message being displayed
when selected from the Threads menu.

0.5.0
=====
o Option to use https for checking and viewing mail (see network tab)
o French and Russian translations added
o German and Italian translations updates

0.4.1
=====
o Fixed bug in thread list refresh code. This one was causing the message count and threads menu to be displayed incorrectly.
o Use KIconEffects for showing status rather than separate pixmaps.

0.4.0
=====
o KDE Wallet support, turned on by default
o open configuration dialog at startup if no username has been specified
o turn off potentialy annoying version warnings from version warning dialog
o An Italian translation has been contributed. Thanks Samuele!

Hi, the new version works just fine and has some new features, check it here: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/KCheckGMail?content=57992
I'm maintaining a debian package for testing here: http://deb.atomo64.puffinhost.com/
I hope the Debian maintainer will upload the new package soon.

KCheckGmail crashes with signal 11 (SIGSEGV) when it tries to log in.

I tried with and without "@gmail.com"

Always when I see settings, password is changed to three letters.
