 Amazing project!

Amazing project! Congratulations! You plan to create RPM for Mandriva? The Fedora and OpenSuse RPMs are useless for it.

Thanks and greetings! ;)

look into QtDesktop project repository:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://TI_Eugene://QtDesktop/

There are packages for Mandriva 32bit. Unfortunately there are no rpms for 64bit. We need some volunteer to fix spec files.

These packages, unfortunately, give me a bug with "eggwm", "openbox" and "sessions". In addition, the KDM doesn't offer the starting option with Razor. :(

Thank you!
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with mandriva. Can you write a short instruction something like https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/razor-qt/index.php?title=InstallUbuntu?

http://mrb.mandrivausers.ro/index.php?dirName=MRB/2010.2/x86_64/MRB-testing/razorqt

and the src.rpm:
http://mrb.mandrivausers.ro/MRB/2010.2/x86_64/MRB-srpms/razorqt-0.3.0-69mrb2010.2.src.rpm

From a root shell add media :
urpmi.addmedia --update 'razorqt' 'http://mrb.mandrivausers.ro/MRB/2010.2/x86_64/MRB-testing/razorqt/' with media_info/hdlist.cz

and install:
urpmi razorqt

IT IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR MANDRIVA 2010.2 X86_64

( hope it helps )
only for testing purposes ...for now .

can you send us your spec file, please? I'd like to merge it with buildservice one to have fresh rpm packages for all rpm based distros. Thanks.

On my previous message you have the link , you can take the spec file from src.rpm :
http://mrb.mandrivausers.ro/MRB/2010.2/x86_64/MRB-srpms/razorqt-0.3.0-69mrb2010.2.src.rpm
( just fixed yours .. :D )
but you must know, ( feedback from testing ),
-not listed in kdm or gdm
-eggwm crashes at start

It has to be fixed before a public release, and I really don't have much time ... :(

thanks

that -eggwm crash is caused by eggwm itself - it does not create its own default config on start.

Where are stored madriva's kdm desktop files, please? in suse/fedora it's in /usr/share/xsessions
files/session types should be loaded automatically from there...

you mean openbox desktop files , :
[symbianflo@Mandriva2010_2 ~]$ ls -l /usr/share/xsessions
totale 16
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 648 2010-01-12 05:28 AfterStep.desktop
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 214 2010-03-26 16:48 openbox.desktop
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 218 2010-03-26 16:48 openbox-gnome.desktop
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 205 2010-03-26 16:48 openbox-kde.desktop
******************
openbox works fine , egg-vm crashes, if you install openbox and not egg-vm, works nice

Yes, it's in our plans. Unfortunately we have many plans, but few workers:)
Right now you can use axkb. http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php/Antico+XKB?content=101667

BZZZZ, wrong! ;)

qxkb is The Choice: http://code.google.com/p/qxkb/

It's much improved and actively maintained next generation of axkb including *many* serious bugs like memory leaks etc.

Packages are already part of QtDesktop repositories.

P.S.: there are many more useful tools there like ptbatterysystemtray, qlipper, etc.
