*Others need to compile from source, download from launchpad
(If anyone knows of packages for other distros, please let me know, i'll update the info)

hmm. thats one great idea but metacity theme is a bit conventional isnt it? i think the buttons would look more nice if they are a bit bulged :)

i meant the buttons should look a little raised
i.e not sunken
like this (disregard the shape but see the buttons look raised)

NOTE TO THREAD OP:

Please provide accurate installment tips as the ones you have provided are a bit more extended then needed.

All users running gnome only need to download the tar.gz and save it to their desktop. Then open the appearance app then drag and drop the tar.gz file into it. This will then install and provide you with the option to use the theme.

Thank you :)
This them is for gnome 3.2 where we dont have an appearance properties app like gnome 2.x, so no drag-n-drop installation is possible. If you're using gnome2 than you can obviously do that. :)

 A question

Sorry if I bother you but how did you get those clickable urls in the artwork description? In mine, normal BBcode for urls (ie [ url][/url ]) doesn't work! :(

I used those [url] [/url] tags only. I don't know why they shouldn't work.

Ok I figured it out (usiing www.google.com as example):

- if you use [url]www.google.com[/url] the formatting works

- if you use [url=www.google.com]Google Homepage[/url] the formatting doesn't work, despite this is supposed to work in all the entries that use BBCode formatting!!!! I was stuck with this since I supposed that also this should work!

Sorry for having stolen time, and thanks for the reply! :)

This theme works with gnome 3.2 (ubuntu 11.10) but not properly. It is like it has been misplaced a few pixels...

The gnome-shell theme hasn't been updated. I accidentally posted the wrong one and now I've lost th updated one. I'll remake it soon. Thanks for the patience :)
