 Great, but...

I really like your theme, but I'm still facing some performance issues with GTK2 applications.

GIMP, for example, has some noticable delay when drawing freely. Same goes for some mouse over events, like in Pidgin. Whenever I hover over a buddy with the cursor, the "shadow" seems to be drawn faster than the actual info popup (if you know that I'm talking about).

Great work non the less! I use your Shell theme already and am really looking forward to use the GTK theme as well (as soon as the glitches mentioned above are solved).

Plz keep on rockin'! :)

Try it now. Think I've fixed some Gimp and Pidgin performance issues. :)

One little detail: Some icons in the Systray are drawn smaller than others for some reason. Doesn't seem to be an iconset specific issue, since the Faenza Dropbox icons are affected as well as the standard Pidgin icon. This is what it looks like:

No biggy, just mention it for coherence sake... :)

Open the gnome-shell.css file in gedit and change to the font you would like to use.
It's in one of the first lines:
stage { font-family: ... }
Just replace "Trebuchet MS", ubuntu, cantarell with the font you would like to use.

If you would like to change the font-size you can just open gnome-shell.css in gedit and press CTRL+H. Replace 8pt with 9pt for example.

In Gnome 2 you just have to open System > Preferences > Appearance to change your font. But this theme doesn't come with any pre-set font other than the one in the shell theme.

I made some changes to the GTK+2 font colors (all to black), though, as I'm not a fan of the "faded" or gray font color prevalent in most(?) themes (my eyes don't like it):

"fg_color:#000000\nselected_fg_color:#000000\ntext_color:#000000

"tooltip_bg_color:#F5F5B5\ntooltip_fg_color:#000000"

Tooltips are a pleasant yellow.

/for anyone else interested in neat contrast.

Hello,

When i try your theme on Debian testing it looks good. Only the text on the taskbar is white instead of black.

How can I change this ?

Second question.

Where did your use the picture of the Opera house and how did you do that?

Roelof

The panel font color problem is easy enough to fix; open Zukitwo/gtk-2.0/widgets/panel.rc and replace every occurance of #f5f5f5 with #1a1a1a.

This will set the panel color to the same color as the text color defined in gtkrc.
