Important note: This theme is designed for Gnome 3.18 and Gnome 3.20.

Get the absolute latest version from github: https://github.com/lassekongo83/zuki-themes

Get it for Gnome 3.18: (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS users get this one.) https://github.com/lassekongo83/zuki-themes/tree/3.18

I have the same issue, but with Gnome-shell 3.4.1 and ubuntu 12.04. When a notification occurs, two small empty boxes appear at the bottom of the screen and an icon appears in the middle of the screen.

Unfortunately, it appears to have gone. Which is a shame, because there aren't enough usable dark themes out there :\
