Important note: This theme is designed for Gnome 3.18 and Gnome 3.20.

 what happened to shell menues?

This is my preferred theme. Now, that I upgraded to Fedora 17, the Gnome Shell menues are opaque and uglies... is this a bug or a feature? I loved the transparent menues, please tell me that this is a bug!

Unfortunately, this is not a bug. I'm the same as you, I preferred the transparent menus, but the grey opaque ones are ok for me.

First I'd like to thank you for the theme, it's very well done. I'd like to ask though if it would be possible to use relative-font sizes. I noticed the gnome-shell theme uses pt sizes (e.g.

stage {
font-family: Ubuntu, Droid Sans, Trebuchet MS, Liberation Sans, sans-serif;
font-size: 9pt; /* The default font size. */

The ability to use relative-font sizes would make the theme more adaptable for other resolutions and DPIs. To convert pt to em proportionally with the current sizes can be done:

sed -i 's/font-size: 9pt;/font-size: 1em;/g' gnome-shell.css && \
sed -i 's/font-size: 8pt;/font-size: .89em;/g' gnome-shell.css && \
sed -i 's/font-size: 7.5pt;/font-size: .83em;/g' gnome-shell.css

I'm discovering I'm liking the fonts sizes a little bigger:

sudo sed -i 's/font-size: 9pt;/font-size: 1.05em;/g' /usr/share/themes/Zukitwo-Shell/gnome-shell/gnome-shell.css && \
sudo sed -i 's/font-size: 8pt;/font-size: .935em;/g' /usr/share/themes/Zukitwo-Shell/gnome-shell/gnome-shell.css && \
sudo sed -i 's/font-size: 7.5pt;/font-size: .872em;/g' /usr/share/themes/Zukitwo-Shell/gnome-shell/gnome-shell.css

I've been thinking about this, but I do have some doubts.

Those sizes you suggested aren't the same size as the current for me, they're bigger in fact. I have to change the sizes to 0.9em, 0.85em and 0.8em to get the same sizes. So if I do this adapted to my screen I may mess up the fonts for others.

Is the Text scaling factor adjusted to a value lesser than 1.0? This gets adjusted at times by distributions. This setting can be found in GNOME Tweak Tool on the Fonts section for local setting.

This is my favourite theme, I love it so much and it is amazing on Unity too.. ;)
But on gnome shell I noticed that there are no more transparent menus and in many parts the highlited text has not anymore that typical "zukitwo" blu colour... they appear opaque. I hope they will be available again in next updates.. :)

I find transparent menus somewhat less usable. Especially when there's no alpha-blur available in mutter/clutter. I just want to see the menu items and not some application with text under the menu.

As for the blue color, I'm hoping it's a step for a more color neutral look. It may change, not decided yet.

This is the same question I asked above. Please could you make a version like before, with transparent menus? This was my preferred gnome-shell theme until last week, but I keep using your gtk theme :)

While I do appreciate your position regarding menu background in, I think that shell notifications background should be at least a bit transparent (alpha around 0.9).

Reasoning is that notifications are quite often irrelevant but Gnome Shell displays them with long timeout (around 4 secs).

In Unity fallback mode white text in the panel hast a green tint. This is not an issue with Unity. See attached screenshot

Looks like an issue with your font settings.

Use gnome-tweak-tool to change the settings to:
Hinting: Slight
Antialiasing: RGB

It could also have something to do with cairo or compiz not being activated.

1. You've added -GtkButtonBox-child-min-height GtkButtonBox::child-min-height to Zukitwo, but not to Zukini or Zukitwo-Dark. Is this a bug or a feature?

2. I would consider adding

.notebook .button {
padding: 3px;
}

Otherwise, all buttons inside notebook have padding = 1px which seems rather tiny.
