 Difference between GTK2 and GTK3

Is the difference in size of combobox in GTK2 and GTK3 themes intentional? Is there any way to decrease size of comboboxes in GTK3 theme?

how can i apply gtk3 themes?

I'm trying to use gnome-tweak-tool 3.2.0, but it doesn't apply any kind of gtk3 theme. Do gnome-tweak-tool really works? or should we edit configuration files directly, and use commands from terminal, and reboot every time we want to change a gtk3 theme?

 Some applets bugs

by tortugo on: Apr 3 2012

Hello!

I've installed this nice GTK3-GTK2 theme and it is great. I like it.

But there are few bugs with some applets: some XFCE applets (GTK2) appears so white, and one of them is unusable, cause it appears as a white block instead showing its colors.

You could see the bugs here:

http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=28480

If you could help me to solve them, it will be nice!

Thank you!

 Gnome 3.4 compatibility

by Lemmiwinks on: Apr 6 2012

I really love this theme and would really be happy about an update for the latest Gnome version 3.4, now as it has been released as final and stable. I get white fonts and some other strange colors when using one of the Zukitwo GTK+3 themes on Ubuntu 12.04. Could you fix that? Thanks for your hard work!

An update is on its way, but I need to wait for Gnome 3.4 to be added to ArchLinux's stable Extra repo before I update. I don't use testing/unstable repos.

Awesome! I think this should be still on time for the Ubuntu 12.04 release (April 26th). Thanks in advance!

Gnome 3.4 is now in extra. I hope you will find the time to update the theme, because it's the best theme I've ever seen.
Looking forward & Rgds

 Some Bugs

Hey lassekongo83,
first I must thank you for your work, it's simply amazing!

I'am running Archlinux with Gnome 3.4 and your new Zukitwo release and there are two bugs ive found.

1. Nautilus
When you open multiple tabs the close buttons look strange.
see http://i43.tinypic.com/28te33p.png

2. Gnome contacts
In the application contacts are buttons directly below the windowbar. These buttons are dark on a dark background, so they can be easily overseen.
see http://i39.tinypic.com/zvao08.png

So please keep up the good work.

Have a nice day!
Alex
