 Top-panel not transparent, can't right-click eithe

Hello,

I love this theme, thank you for your hard work! Does anyone also get a top-panel with a File, Edit, View, etc buttons (not functional, of course) across the top panel? I'm trying to make the top-panel transparent, but when right-clicking on the panel, do not have the option to go to Properties. Anyone have any advice? I'm using Ubuntu 11.10.

I have put a screenshot here: http://public.erickson.ws/toppanel.png

Thank you for you help!

JE

That's a bug with gtk3-appmenu. If you don't have any use for desktop icons you can disable the file manager to handle the desktop in gnome-tweak-tool.

If you do use icons on your desktop you'll have to cripple Unity (if you use that) by removing appmenu:

sudo apt-get remove appmenu-gtk3 appmenu-gtk

Hi,

there's a little bug in Eclipse with Aptana Studio extension. I made screenshot of this bug - http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/256/08112011532.jpg/. You can get this dialog by press CTRL+SPACE in code.

Thanks for your help!

Is it Zukitwo-Dark you're using? If so, can you tell me if the same bug is present in Ubuntu's default theme Ambience? - https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/light-themes

If it is you should report the bug to the developers of that extension.

 Bug w/ Docky indicators

Ohai. I've found what causes docky to color its icon and indicators into pink (half saturated red):

class "GtkWindow" style "metacity-frame"

This style tells that bg[SELECTED] is half-darkened bg[NORMAL] which is not @selected_bg_color. And docky gets only hue for that and have 0.4 for minimum saturation value.

So for those, who also using docky with Zukitwo, just comment out that line :)

Also, is that style really working somewhere?

 Font color...

I've always liked this theme, but I always felt as though the tone of the text color was a bit weak. It just gives it a washed out feeling. Meanwhile on Adwaita, it's a very pronounced black color that looks precise and grabs you. This theme is perfect besides that one little tiny minor thing.

If you want to hide the ugly icons (7-Zip FM, Avahi etc.) then add the line 'NoDisplay=true' to the relevant entries in /usr/share/applications. It'll make your screenshots/desktop look even nicer.
