Feff is a Audio/Video converter for Linux using Qt4 as GUI and FFmpeg as backend.

Building bin on OpenSuSE 11.4 x64 easy , with no problem. Nothing happens on trying to convert video file . The program doesn't start converting.

Here is the output :
./feff -debug
KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work


I did some experiments and noticed that converting is possible only in case that audio setting are set to "copy" for the audio codecs. Any try with audio codec set to a different value for the audio codec - freezes the program.

On my GUI the last tab is "ABOUT". I compiled the program with "qmake" and "make" .

strangely. run "./feff -debug" ?

Try another:
replace line 48 from form1.cpp
before
if (debug!=1) ui.tabWidget->removeTab(5);
after
ui.tabWidget->removeTab(5);

and recompile

Adding "-strict experimental" in custom options solved the audio codecs problem. If I keep that option I can use any of the codecs I tried.
