Description:
A nice face-lift for the Login Scan (aka PalmScan) Splash Theme REMASTEREDhe PalmScan theme... I have redesigned LoginScan from the ground up with a more aesthetic modern look, a nice SUSE background in a wide variety of resolutions and support for dual screens.
If you'd like a login screen that matches this SplashScreen you can download one from: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/openSuSe?content=128336
Can install by unpacking this item and placing into the following directory:
/home/YOUR-USERNAME/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/
I have disabled the scaling of the hand for less deformation (it looks a lot better on my 1920x1080 screen that way). This may present problems for people with smaller monitors. If you do not like the way it looks on your monitor, go to:
/home/YOUR-USERNAME/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/FADiScan/1600x1200/description.txt and re-enable scaling by deleting SCALING OFF and adding
SCALEX ON
SCALEY ON
after
BACKGROUND_IMAGE 0 0 background.png
in the 3rd and 4th lines respectively.

I got rid of the screen with the DNA scanner (screenshot 1). It looks alot better now.
I have appended the previous version in the event you prefer having the screen (screenshot 2)
