Hi! Thanks for your quick reply :D

This is my desktop before installing elegant-gnome:

And this is the desktop after installing:
http://transferskate.webcindario.com/after_installing.png

I'm using Murrine GTK2 engine version 0.90.3 for Fedora 13 i686 (the package name is "gtk-murrine-engine"). I'm also using Nodoka GTK Theme version 0.7.2 for Fedora 13 i686 (package name "gtk-nodoka-engine")

Ok, Have you restarted your X session after using the script?
If no, just try to restart it.
If yes, try to install newer version of the murrine engine, and then restart X session:
For example from this link:

Oups.. I've forgot to tell you that I'm using Fish Shell, not Bash, so I've to execute the script in this way:

$ bash ./elegant_gnome-0.2.1.sh

But I don't know if this is important and if it can cause troubles :S

Problem solved!!

First I restarted X session after installing, but no change seemed to appear.

Then I installed the latest version of GTK Murrine from the link you posted, rebooted the computer... et voilà! The themes were aplied correctly. Thanks so much :D

  Amazing job!

Really terrific job, congrats! Although I'm having some hard time with OpenOffice (expected, being this a dark theme), everything else is working well and it's being a pleasant experience.
As a suggestion, I'd say that the "trash" applet icon called by the theme for AWN dock is not the one that better matches with the other icons. There is another one in the iconset, much better, but I could not figure out how to change it. If you do so, then it would be perfect! Greetings from Brasil!

To fix the OpenOffice:
1. Start it
2. Go to "Tool -> Options"
3. Then "OpenOffice.org -> Appearance"
4. For "Document background" choose - "white"
For "Text boundaries" - "Gray 80%"
For "Application background" - "Gray 10%"
And for "Font color" - "black"

And from now you are good)
