Description:

This is an edit of AmbianceNautilusMod by albyrock87.

I just edited the colours to make it dark, and changed the various orange-y items (progressbar, check buttons) to purple to avoid high-contrast.

Feel free to report any complaints at the comments below.

Enjoy!
----------------------------------
Version 0.2

More colour tweaks. Highlights to purple for less contrast, text colour matches the ubuntu-mono-dark panel icons.
----------------------------------
Version 0.3

Fixed the obnoxious white borders on some panel buttons, and some other color incosistencies.
----------------------------------
Version 0.4

-- Default color is now blue, and you can easily change it from the appearance preferences. All the colored items and widgets should follow your color choice.
-- Theme recommends the MeliaeSVG iconset now, which I believe goes best with it.
-- Various tweaks for progressbars, scrollbars, etc.

Does it work good with firefox? Have this theme the same problems of the dark GTK theme (e.g. input bar in Google)?

That problem goes for any theme that has a dark colour for input boxes as far as I know. If you want to get past that you'll have to edit something in your userchrome file. Alas I don't know what.

It is usable though, even though the input box is dark, the text colour appears white.

You can of course install it and check it out :)

Too bad that it use the special gay ubuntu style pink/purple colors

Ubuntu is an old African word, it means "I am a stupid shit, I don't know how to netinstall Debian"

I'll make it editable next time, so that you can change it from the theme preferences, it's easy. To be honest I don't even remember why I went for purple.
