gnome-look is not ubuntu-look!!! Not the right place for your wallpaper here!

Ubuntu is an old African word, it means "I am a stupid shit, I don't know how to netinstall Debian"

Veo que demuestra demasiada falta de respeto. Si no le parecen las normas del sitio sería bueno que migre a otro lugar.

that's not bad, that's just not the right place. ubuntu-look exists, ubuntu users should use it, as fedora users use fedora-look, as gentoo users use gentoo, etc...
Only ubuntu users think that gnome-look is made only for ubuntu users.

Well, the problem is that you're not the only one here that is waiting each new Ubuntu release to post a WP. So there are at least four concerns about doing so :

- first it's a bit invasive for gnome look, because there are pages and pages of Ubuntu WPs everyday, a month before and after each new version is up.
- second, it's bad for Ubuntu-art, because the site doesn't live enough.
Do you think it's fair that there are 10 times less Ubuntu WPs on ubuntu-art than on gnome-look ?
- third, most of Ubuntu WP proposals here are much less than creative and are just copy of existing backgrounds with an Ubuntu logo.
- fourth, it should be easier for users to look for WPs in several more harmonious lists (on Ubuntu-art, you have only one page of Wallpapers for these last 15 days !!).

So, for these reasons, it should be better to post Ubuntu walls at Ubuntu-art.

But this is not the law. It's just a question of mutual respect and community consciousness.
Posting here ubuntu or debian or else WP's is not forbidden of course but it should be better if you post several Os versions of your WP at the same time, for example. Gnome is on Ubuntu also you're right, but it is not only on Ubuntu !

Hope you can understand.
