python kde bindings are still broken

on kubuntu with kde4.4 :-(

I guess we'll have to wait for the new kubuntu release

On my Kubuntu with kde 4.3.4 che middle click mouse and the new pubblic url fuction doesn't work.

the output is only this:

findServiceByDesktopPath: not found

and it's appears the plasmoid on desktop inside a windows.
My dropbox folder is in ~

Today I will add change dropbox folder option to the plasmoid.

The basic dropbox folder in the plasmoid is ~/Dropbox.

Public : ~/Dropbox/Public

When you add an empty folders ~/Dropbox and ~/Dropbox/Public, plasmoid work or not?

If work, than be patient. Fix this soon.

Hi again,

Now that I got your nice plasmoid running, I would suggest that you add icons displaying the status to replace the text when embedded in a panel or systray, so that it can replace the gtk systray app :)

I got the same "Script initialization fails" error. My Dropbox folder is ~/Desktop/Dropbox, and I set so. Also I tried linking Dropbox to my home folder and seting ~/Dropbox in the plasma app, but the same error occurs.

I have dropbox started, obviously, with the icon in the system try.

Any help?

I tried, delete dropbox folder, and same error here.

I search the solution, because ~/Dropbox basic folder dont't work at first start.

it has completely block my pc, the CPU usage got to the moon...

fix that cpu usage issue, it's kinda annoying not being able to close the plasmoid because your system stucks at startup...

Please run ksysguard and look for: du

/du -s -L..../ is running,
if running :kill du process and write me, if this process response this BIG Problem.

The other thing plasmoidviewer Dropbox what's say:? Any problem?

Do you happen to have wine installed?
Under ~/.wine/dosdevices - do you have z: linked to / (root)? Remove the link "rm ~/.wine/dosdevices/z\:" and try the Dropbox-plasmoid again...

I don't use wine!!
I don't write rm ~/.win....!!!! Check it!
Only One Line contets KRun.runCommand("rm -rf ~/.dropbox/cache"

This call Clear Cache.
In main.py 319 line!!!!!

Anyway: Clear Cache option Warning before used and Clearly writed what commands will be running.

I don't no how delete your z: drive.

Oh I forget : run konsole : rm -rf ~/.dropbox/cache

If this command delete your z drive, I removed MY ACCOUNT and Dropbox plasmoid.

Ok, I had the problem with maximum cpu-load due to "du -s -L -h /home/xxx". In my case the solution was deleting the softlink to / from z: under .wine. (command du / will give permission denied for some directories for regular users and for some reason it seemed to hang the initialization-script?).
