Description:

Ubuntu One applet icons for Humanity icon theme.
Icons created by request of Bob CFC.

ubuntuone-client.png need to go into appropriate size folders of
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps

The rest icons go into appropriate size folders of /usr/share/ubuntuone-client/icons/hicolor/24x24/status

Then do
$ sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor
to update icon cache.

And finally restart or start ubuntuone. (Thanks to BobCFC for finding the final steps explained by Elie Charest)

Nice work dude... I use dropbox, but this is just want the ubuntu one users need i think... If you can do some dropbox icons you are my idol! :D

If you could provide info about where dropbox icons can be located. I could take a look next weekend and draw something up.

I look some things before i post the comment and i can't find how to do it... Dropbox manage in some strange way the icons. But if you have some time you can provide icons for this theme for all the common applications, like banshee,liferea,etc... Because this work is really awesome!.

When I will have some free time, I can try to add some more icons, that haven't been covered by Humanity icon theme. :)

There was a comment on how to fix the main icon after this was featured on OMG!UBUNTU! http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2009/10/ubuntuone-match-karmic-panel.html

Okay, I figured it out: you have to copy the ubuntone-client.png icons in the appropriate size folders for apps in /usr/share/icons/hicolor. For example, copy the 24x24 ubuntuone-client.png icon in the /usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps directory.

I had tried this repeatedly and it didn't work, until I realized I needed to issue the following command in order to update the icon cache:

$ sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor

Restarting UbuntuOne after that displayed the correct greyscale icon once connected.
