Not sure about this. We have had positive compilations on KUbuntu machines, this shouldn't be a problem.

Can you tell me if you have this powermanager.h file?

where should I look for the powermanager.h file ? I don't know where the kde librairies are installed..

I have it in /usr/include/solid/...

Of course it's not a kubuntu box.

Can you give me please the repository from where you have installed kde 4.3 in kubuntu 9.04?
I need it to build kamoso in your exact environment, so I can give you some tip, or fix kamoso build system if needed.

Thanks!

I am having this same issue on Mandriva 2009.1 with KDE 4.2. Is it a devel package I may not have installed?

Problem solved.
#apt-get install kdebase-workspace-dev

For those like me, using *ubuntu, I propose to use
apt-file search the_file_you_look_4

it will tell you the package containing the file you are looking for ;)

My personal 2 cents...

Ciao :)

for me, installing kdebase4-workspace-devel hepled me go further, but I still have this:

/usr/lib/qt4/include/Qt/objectdescriptionmodel.h:26:27: error: phonon_export.h: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/qt4/include/Qt/objectdescriptionmodel.h:27:24: error: phonondefs.h: No such file or directory

but I have phonon-devel installed.
