 Does "save to" work?

Hey,

if I select "save without asking for a file name" as save mode, skanlite just does not do that but still shows a preview window instead. Anyone else experiencing that issue?

Cool application, otherwise.

Best regards,
Sven

After upgrading my KDE to 4.6.0 and Qt 4.7.1 the window that shows the result after a scan is empty.
Saving the result shows that it is fine.

Is there a roadmap for skanlite development ?

I'd like to know if multipage support is planed ? and pdf output...

I'm fed up using gtk programs for that...
Is there a way to make a donation action, for all people that wan't that features, to pay for the dev ?

I have developed Skanlite for my own image scanning needs and PDF has not been very high on my priority :(

There is a sleeping playground project in kde svn called SkanSuite that includes a multipage pdf scanning (also based on libksane), but it has not seen any love in a looong time.

I have hoped that somebody with an itch to write and maintain a document scanning application would step up...

Would you think about making it for money ?

I like kde so much, but there are some important apps missing, and for very long time.
No proper scanning app with multipage since kooka, no reliable, stable full integrated browser (rekonq is not yet an alternative...)
It really anoying using gtk apps, that are not well integrated to the desktop. I'm not a good dev, so I'm searching a way of boosting kde ergonomy and adding missing features...

A men have made a script for bypass the problem http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/scannerdolphin-qt?content=139016 .
It's possible integrate this in the program?
I not want open a ticket on the kde buzilla...

I use skanlite all the time - it's simple and just works.

But...just installed 0.8 from src, and wonder why the ABOUT screen shows 0.7?
