 Themes?

by rangerGR on: Jul 22 2009

Very nice but one problem:

waheela doesn't load any theme when started (just a white background) although themes are installed in usr/share/kde4/apps/waheela/themes. Also configure doesn't show a list with the installed themes and I cant choose the theme folder.

(Maybe a typo but it says "Version 0.1" in "about" window)

I had this problem and fixed it by copying the themes from /usr/local/share/kde4/apps/waheela to ~/.kde4/share/apps/waheela.

 Fantastic!

Downloaded the .deb_64, converted to rpm with alien and installed on openSUSE 11.1. Works flawlessly.

I have been waiting for something like this for quite a while. I especially like the ability to lock the app with a password.

Please keep up the good work!

Well, I had the rpm on my computer, and after installation I deleted the rpm.

You can create your own rpm easily.
Download the .deb for your system.
Install the program called: "alien", then in the console got to the directory that holds your .deb and use this command:

alien --to-rpm your.deb

The whole process will take only about 2 minutes.

The only problem is that the .deb_64 seems to have gone missing.

Good luck!

 Wrong email address

Check the comment headers of the source files. There's a typo in your email address.
And a little README of how to set it up would also be nice.

Sam problem here, both with 0.2(.1) and 0.3 on Debian sid amd64 (0.2.1 from xadras repo).
Trying to play with the source code of the updateMetadata method, it seems the problem is related to spaces in the filename that are rendered as %20s in the arturl metadata (try it for yourself using d-feet or qdbusviewer to catch the d-bus signal): adding "cover.replace("%20"," ");" after "cover.replace("file://","");" seems to solve the problem.
I suppose there should be a better solution (as with the proposed one other characters escaped in a similar way in the path of the cover file would cause the same problem)
