Description:

This mockup is still wip, it doesn't cover all widgets yet and I still need to check what can actually be done with Quantumstyle/dekorator/aurorae.

Suggestions and constructive criticism is very welcome :)

Changelog:

0.2 (Second Screenshot) Some improvements

Problems:
*Buttons could be improved a bit.
*I doubt a transperant menubar is possible with quantumstyle
* still not happy with the winow decoration

I like it. Everything is very proper and beautfiul - excluding the window frame (impression is clear - too dark) & buttons (too small)...
Voted: YES! :)

It's the menubar isn't it? :P can you be more specific about what makes it gnome-ish?

In fact I think it would rather be the icon theme which look very Gnomish.

Oxygen is more realistic, KDE used to be more "plastic" : these icons are not fancies enough to KDE.

But well, in my opinion, KDE miss some simple icon theme like that.
I would just advise you : this theme is good, but it should be customisable, and allow people to get something with more colour in it.

Well ,the icons in the mockup are just stand-ins. It's just to show the general idea of using singlecolor icons on smaller sizes (<24px). Larger icons will have a more realistic look, since it will have to be mixed with oxygen icons (I just don't have the time to make a complete iconset anytime soon)

The actual icons will look way better :)

Somehow this screenshot reminds me of the Moblin UI, which has some nice ideas :-)

I love the design. However, I don't like black & white, so a wide variety of colors would be nice

someone gets up and uses the quantum engine... that alone is worth a YES, go for it!

apart from that it looks rather nice, tho i dont like the tabs that much.
