Hi,
this works quite good, but it changes the traks title also if I say not to do this.
Is it there a way to download only the covers?

Thank you for the answer.
When do you think you will release the next version :)?
I confirm another bug: the tracklist of the release that I select, are not correctly shown.

I'll release it as soon as I have feedback enough to improve it consistently. What do you mean by the tracklist not shown correctly? Could you show a screen capture?

 great idea..

i like the idea but when i try to use your script in the end i end up on page because i don't know what to choose (and in browser it's faster and easier to decide) :p
here's an example i want to choose the first one (Album): http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/5452/snapshot05.png
the sorting in script isn't the same as on page so it's hard to tell which on is which..

and it would be nice if some kind automatic downloading (band name/album name/year/track name/cover) would be possible..

I know what you mean but unfortunately when you use the Discogs API to retrieve results as XML the sorting is not the same as the website's one.
As for the idea of getting all the information you're talking about in the result page, it would end up slowing down the script a lot because it would be necessary to download XML info for each entry but I'll take a closer look at what can be done as soon as I have some time to spend on this.

 Move Filename to Correct Track

by katams on: Feb 10 2010

First of all my sincerest complements for a very well implemented Discogs script. This makes organzing music so much easier.

I'm a bit confused as to how to move the filename to the correct track in the track selection screen.

When I click moveup or move down it only reply's select a vaild row first.

Here is step by step how to reproduce the issue:
)Using a single file from a compilation album in a folder with multiple tracks from various different albums say psy-trance.
)Album title is at this point unknown
)Start the Discogs script from the menu bar
)it comes in with a search bar that shows the folder name psy-trance
)replace this with the Artist and Title
Tranan Preacher Boy (Silicon Sound Rmx)
)The script returns the album Senix Accelerator 4.0
)The script puts the file name on the 1st track even though it's track 6 on the album
)no matter what I do when I choose save... it replaces the name of my track with the 1st track. I have to go back and manually reset the trackname to the real track name.

What is the proper way of choosing a track other than track 1?
