Question:I tried to change the images in the gtk for unity and wound up with a very frustration thing, no matter how many images I changed and changes I made in the gtk also nothing changed in the gtk part of the theme for unity in ubuntu, I did a bit of research on this and found out if the theme is not named Ambience unity reverts back to the default gtk theme and also limits you in what you can do, I hope they fix this in the update to ubuntu 11.10 because this limits people in themeing for unity, we can make meta city themes but the gtk goes back to defaults which is no good so we can only do half a theme, I will research this further and put a bug report in for thisand try to find a way to hard code it instead which might be a hassle, I did use a theme I made and used the classic and it seemed to work as normal once in untiy though it went out of wack.
I'll keep this updated as I find out more.
