dust metacity mod - no title bar on max

Description:

Little tweak for metacity for great Dust and Dust Mod themes.
I dislike having titlebars in maximized windows so I made this for myself and thought someone else could find it useful.
There are two themes, one for regular Dust, standard colour and one for Dust Mod, which I use, blueish colour.
Enjoy!

 Nice one

Clever idea! Always good to free vertical space on widescreen monitors.

Please can you explain what changes you made to the XML file so that I can apply this to any metacity theme?

Basically, .xml deals first with the <frame_geometry> so you'll find the values you need to tweak in the beginning of the file. Look for border and distance values. First is the geometry of normal window, then maximized, shaded, etc... In many cases only normal and maximized states are defined so you will recognize it easily, but not all follow naming as it's expected so be warned. In Dust case there where 2 states defined, "frame_geometry_normal" and "frame_geometry_abnormal" :) Second one is max window.

And offcourse, when you find it, geometry of normal window leave as it is. Values in <frame_geometry> of max window change all to 0 :)
Enjoy!

 doing this in emerald

do you know a way to do this in emerald ?

this theme does not work well with compiz ( it's perfect with metacity)
I've managed to make a decent borderless theme from one on here but I can't figure out how to make it have no titlebar on maximise.

Any suggestion appreciated
