It's a lovely background, but I'm not sure about the tagline along the bottom, as even if he gave us the source code, I doubt we'd have the knowledge and wisdom to use it to the benefit of the ecology. Though that's a bit off topic ;)

You may be right, but wouldn't the world be a lot more confortable if we just get the source of every prog we encounter ?? :p

Science is reverse engineering the way that things work, and we could do amazing things when we know how!

I guess what I'm saying is that there's a difference between science (or originally, natural philosophy, the love of wisdom of the natural world) and technology (implementing knowledge).

Having, and loving, knowledge of the world is no bad thing, but then implementing our own ideas based on that knowledge is dangerous, especially when we haven't sufficient knowledge to be sure of all of the consequences when we think we do. Human history tells us that much :)

He did give me the source code when he told me I could have multiple hot-model wives. I wrote a python interface to it, so I could things like this:

from Divity import *

Baddie = World.locateMortal("Osama Bin Laden")
if Baddie:
    Baddie.changeGender()
    Baddie.curse(Illness.herpes)

...but the memory needed for the system is outrageous, beyond my mere mortal means of obtaining, so I'm only left in awe of the system. ;)

Well there's always trail and error. Let's hack into this world and see if it compiles.... :-D
