Description:

What is deliK?

It's the KDE porting of Delibar (http://www.rknet.it/program/delibar/)
It is a del.icio.us bookmark manager client, it will store all your bookmarks
in the system bar so you can easily access to it by selecting the tag and then
the link. Enjoy delicious with KDE!

Requirements:
- A KDE enviroment
- A recent Python version
- The PyQT - PyKDE bindings, these are very easy to find in
every distribution.

Author: Andrea Cimino (andrea.cimino@shinyfrog.net)
Credits: Matteo Rattotti, Luigi Cristalli and Fabio Trabucchi, my dear friends ;-)

To start it... python deliK.py or set permissions
- chmod a+x deliK.py
- ./deliK.py

http://andrea.shinyfrog.net/

Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

0.4.0: Added the renaming tags function and bugfixing.
0.3.4: Added "Reload Tags" button in context menu.
0.3.3: Restored connection to del.icio.us due to their API changes.
0.3.2: Improvement - Better handled the exception raised whenever the connection to del.icio.us fails.
0.3.1: Bugfix, throw an Exception if Pykde/Pyqt not found.
0.3: Added the sorting tags features.

The first comment! Thank you so much! I hope you'll like it and, if you're missing some feature, please let me know. From September i will be very busy doing other jobs, so: now or never!

I don't know if this can be done, but how about a method to post the current URL from Konqueror to del.icio.us? I think it can be done via dcop, but multiple Konqueror instances and tabs might make it hard to do properly.

I'll try to study this feature, but i think is not very simple to implement. But why not take a look!
Ciao, Andrea

Here's the easiest way to do it: write a Konqueror extension which adds shortcut & toolbutton called "Add to del.icio.us".
In other words do the same as konqil.icio.us (http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=18909), but without burying the feature in the Action submenu (which is inevitable with servicemenus).
DeliK is a must-have tool, thanks!

Just make sure it continues to stay connected. Odd how as soon as you made the .2 update, delicious changes their API. :(

  1. change the icon from XPM to PNG

  2. rename the deliKsources folder to src

  3. remove the svn-commit.tmp file (it isn't necessary, is it?)

 Bundles?

Hi, great work.. thanks.

Any chance this can be made to list bundles rather than / as well as tags?

I have far too many tags to make this really useful, but I keep them all in bundles..

Thanks!

You might want to check out KDelicious: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/KDelicious?content=72038

It allows you to aggregate your bookmarks by Bundle > Tag (or even just bundle or just tag).

Or you could try http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/konqil.icio.us?content=18909 which simply interfaces del.icio.us with Konqueror :).
