 No editable toolbars on 1.7...

 by acidrums4 on: Oct 28 2012

Just tried 1.7 and I found that. I like to put the bookmarks toolbar at right of the address toolbar. But I couldn't unlock toolbars... Also I couldn't find the option of "keep tabs always visible". But everything else seems OK! Hope you keep your awesome work. Thanks!

Does this release restore the option to have normal menus? I have switched to Chromium until the menus are fixed. Would prefer to use Rekonq but gotta have menus.

regards,
-j

Why has rekonq even passed version 1.0.0? I still consider it very beta looking at all the flaws and bugs. And unfortunately it seems to get worse.

 Rekonq browser tabs

by cchd on: Apr 30 2013

Just upgraded and find I am forced to use tabs. The config setting for 'Use windows instead of tabs' has disappeared. This is a big nuisance for my multiscreen multiwindow way of working, despite the ability to detach tabs. Can this setting be restored?

That must be really annoying. You should still be able to run separate instances of rekonq though which you can have on each screen, right?

My problem with rekonq is that it won't even run on PowerPC anymore after 13.04.
No idea what's being done about that.
