Is there anyway of removing the digital clock and instead have one of the small lines in the centre go red to show the minute and on the outer circle to show the hour. This would free up that extra circle where the clock was, perhaps for another widget such as mail or pie menu launcher.

install wallpaper, add wallpaper from matrix pack as skydome image for desktop cube and make the cube a little transculant then play around a little with opacity settings for transculant windows and main menu
edit.gtkrc2.0 file in your home directory and edit it like I postet above for green font in main menu

have a look to the options of the "circle clock screenlet" maybe there is an option "show text" and onclick
the other rings except clock are "ring sensors screenlet"
