Description:
XP-like Start Menu
A lightweight implamentation of the Vista Menu libraries (see http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=71425).
You may need dependencies:
sudo apt-get install python2.5 python-xdg python-cairo python-gconf python-xlib
How to report a bug:
Go to a terminal and type
XP_Menu.py run-in-window
Do whatever you need to do to reproduce bug, and copy and paste the debugging output to this site.
How to complain:
-Yes there are some people who are going to rant that I'm copying microsoft should not put this on linux blah blah blah.
-Fact: I've heard all your complaints before.
-Fact: I don't care.
-Fact: I work in the computer industry and see people so clueless that they might as well be smacking their heads into the wall of a padded white room. Sadly they are on the outside and they try to use computers every day. This may help promote and introduce people to linux.

-Send me a message if you are a python programmer and want to code.
-I'm looking for someone to take over the vista menu project which is a much more comprehensive and complete menu.
-This is a very simple menu. You can download it, look in the src file and swap in your own images for stuff. Also check out the Globals.py file, it contains all the settings for stuff and is simple to modify.
-Go ahead, make your own crazy cool menu from this and post it here so long as it's original and not just a picture of your face or other body part. Bonus points for modifying the python code to do something cool.
