Description:

This is my take on what a \\\"next generation\\\" WindowMaker would look like.

The dock is still on the right. There is a system tray below it that expands vertically if more icons are added so that it stays the same width as the dock.

The upper left corner is clickable and it expands some more icons which can be applications, folders, files, or even widgets (i.e. weather).

Others Ideas I\\\'ve had are:
- scroll wheel on desktop scrolls through open programs
- right click on desktop still brings up menu like in WindowMaker
- left click on desktop minimizes all windows and opens a \\\"plasma\\\" style view of your home folder
-right click on window titlebar makes window go fullscreen
-windows can be dragged to either side of the screen to do split screen view (i.e. Windows\\\' Aero Snap)
-double click on titlebar rolls up window
-you can grab a window\\\'s titlebar and \\\"toss\\\" the window toward the bottom left to minimize it
-any mounted volume would show up as another icon below the other icons in the main dock
-full drag and drop support

... Steve Jobs flopped with this concept (NextStep): It just was way too crazy. And those dock icons are still really nasty to configure. (Did you ever try to give them command-line-parameters?) I'd go with IceWM any time rather than this. (And I prefer Openbox.)

Even if God did give you the code you would never be able to write a decent configure skript for divine hardware and OS.
