Wani - Animated Wallpaper

What is this?
With Wani I'll try to develop a nice background effect with lighting and other, to improve Ubuntu looking. For thato purposed i use a Mpeg video which will be set as wallpaper by XwinWrap.

How could i get it running
First of all you need:
- Compiz or Beryl
- mPlayer
- XwinWrapper

If you don't know how to install XwinWrapper please follow my guide

If you got all requirements, just extract the video into the folder you prefer and run

Quote:

xwinwrap -ni -o 0.3 -fs -s -st -sp -b -nf -- mplayer -wid WID -quiet -vo gl2 -ao alsa '/path/to/video/Wani.mpg' -loop 0

Now What?
Obviously this is just a pre release and the effect is quite archaic. I'll try to improve my skills on creating animations and converting them to video.

Obviously, static wallpaper was originally created by official ubunt uartwork team for the release 7.04
