 Nice wallpaper but..

I like the texture of the wallpaper, but I could have done without the huge Ubuntu Logo.

I wish wallpaper makers would offer "logo free" versions of their wallpapers.

Thank you for your comment.
Actually this is an ubuntu wallpaper, I made it for my desktop and I gave it to everyone who wants to have it on its computer.
But you gave me a good hint: I will think about making it "unbranded" (-;

Thanks.
I don't mind if you cut the signature away. (-:
I will make next wallpapers without it.

Its beautiful!!

Ive been wishing someone would make an Ubuntu WP like this!

I love it!

I wonder....

Would you be able to make the same thing, but the "ubuntu" spelled out,
and make them look like metal like this, but with the orange and purple colors every other letter?

I saw a linux mint WP like it not long ago,
and been dying for an ubuntu one ever since! lol

This is just like it!
only without the text.

Great work!!
thanks <3 :D

Hi,
Thank you for your comment!
I didn't understand exactly what you are looking for: an ubuntu logo with the "ubuntu" text, with a multi-coloured light instead of white?

Cheers,

Hi mate,
Sorry I made it confusing,

I was thinking something like this http://dransoft.com/uploads/posts/2011-01/18/12535-0-img696.imageshack.us-img696-3166-87699087.jpg

How it has the "linux mint" in silver and green.

But instead,
have "Ubuntu", and alternate the purple and orange (and maybe silver?) colors every other letter.

Do you know what i mean?

To add "Ubuntu" that looks like metal, like the logo..
but with the new ubuntu colors,
like the green is in the linux mint WP.

Hi,
there is a difference: on Mint logo the word "Mint" is actually green. Ubuntu logo guidelines suggest the word "ubuntu" to be white or black (at least orange), see http://design.canonical.com/brand/.

Anyway I'm thinking about something similar, with metallic logo and word. Stay tuned. (-;

ahh yes,
I did not mean to make it green,
i was just using the "green" as an example, but i worded it badly, my apologies.

i meant how the green is colored, but still looks like "metal"..
but instead of green, to be purple and orange.

looking forward to what else you come up!
great stuff!

I meant that "Mint" is green in the official logo, while "ubuntu" is not officially coloured.
