Description:

A plasma theme to fit in with bespin.

any insults very welcome!

features:

-follows color scheme from kde color center.
-fits in with bespin

...it\\\'s still very incomplete and not final
design so.... oh, and it\\\'s made under kde-svn
so not sure if it will work in stable.

It has been brought to my attention
that this theme does not work in stable (4.3)

Changelog:

6.1
-new widgets: pager, buttons, some other
minor widgets
-bugs: inkscape didn't let me set the
active hovered element id's to selected+hover so it renders nothing
when hovering an active view element, anybody know why?
-full screenshot: http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/5906/shoty.png

31.12
-fixes: tasks follows color scheme now
-full shot: http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/5256/shots.png

Sorry, I have no time to make a dark ss

30.12
-minor overall improvements.
-full shot:

(the clock in the shot is beclock)

21.12
-made the clock easier to understand.
-improved tasks and tray.
-new widgets: progressbar, made this
one real minimalistic as I didn't manage
to get a advanced looking to be good
at small size (check out the playwolf
in the panel for confirmation).
-full screenshot: http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/3269/shotg.png

03.12 -fixed a glitch in a frame.
-new widgets: sliders

30.11, -new clock (includes desing ideas
of Thomas Lübking)
-new bg's now follow color scheme.
-overall design improvements, actually spended some time on making this
release. Thx to Thomas for good guidelines!

 probably run dialog bug.

 by vi3dr0 on: May 11 2010

Score 50%

Great theme, nice and comfortable to work with all day (night) long ;)

However without compositing (Kwin Desktop Effects) krunner dialog doesn't match. It's much higher and with different background.

Can you fix it please?

Wow, that was QUICK ;)

Don't want to bother you, but there is now 5px-wide solid black border around run dialog.

 Notification Area Black Border

Hi , was it designed to have a black border around the notification area ?

Just try with `kdialog --passivepopup Black' , you'd got that problem , there's a black border , i don't really like that ..

That's the only thing i dislike ;-)
All of the rest , Cool !

With kde 4.4 or 4.5? Plasma might have
changed since 4.5 and I have no intentions
of making it work with 4.5 sry. If this is
the case that is.

Right, well, I guess you fun without compositing?

Making this work (without compositing)
would mean I'd have to
know how masks work in inkscape and I haven't
the slightest idea, I tried.

If anyone is interested in taking over
this project I'm more then happy to
hand it over tho.

sry.

Yep , compositing removed the black border , but i'm not with compositing often ;-)

Doesn't matter , don't be sad.

 Task Manager Text Shadow

by markc on: Oct 25 2012

Score 50%

Great theme, love it in general, but (for me) the light colored shadow behind the also light colored text in the Task Manager is annoying. I use a background color of #3F3F3F and main foreground color of #FFFFFF so maybe the shadow is hardwired and not picking up that I have light colored text. Also the blur radius of the shadow is just not crisp enough.

Perhaps I can change the shadow setting somewhere else in the KDE system settings?

Also the lowest section of Kickoff is a light background whereas Tibanna Dark Mod gets that right so I use it's Kickoff setting.

I created some GTK2 themes from your NewslickneSS theme and I'm so glad to see your skills going toward the KDE world! Tibana is beautiful, thank you.
