This would look great a little more minimalistic. No dark gray bar at bottom of screen. Drop the login text to the login square & get rid of the black titlebar completely. And if there is a way to change the user information to just appear as clickable text (no blue rectangle and all) it'd look very slick.

well if you use the picture with the new lightdm on Ubuntu 12.10 and the classic them it reall is way better. You can still use the splash.
