 not working for me

I've never used Mame, I installed Xmame and some roms and got them working, I installed your program (which looks great) set all of the paths correctly (got my cabnets and snapshots working) set the path of xmame and attempted to execute a rom. I chose one I know works (I tried it without the gui first) but when I use the gui it says:

----------(in the Konsole)----------
-nolcf -nosamples -samplefreq 22050 -volume 0 -joytype 0 -noanalogstick -nousbpspad -norapidfire -nocheat -noskip_gameinfo -noskip_disclaimer -x11 2 -nocursor -mameinfo_file /home/chris/.xmame/mameinfo.dat -history_file /home/chris/.xmame/history.dat -cheat_file /home/chris/.xmame/cheat.dat -hiscore_file /home/chris/.xmame/Hiscore.dat -snapshot_directory /home/chris/.xmame/snaps/ -nvram_directory /home/chris/.xmame/nvram/ -memcard_directory /home/chris/.xmame/memcard/ -input_directory /home/chris/.xmame/inp/ -cfg_directory /home/chris/.xmame/cfg/ -samplepath /home/chris/.xmame/samples/ -hiscore_directory /home/chris/.xmame/hi/ -artwork_directory /home/chris/.xmame/artwork/-ctrlr_directory /home/chris/.xmame/ctrlr/ -diff_directory /home/chris/.xmame/diff/ -rompath /home/chris/.xmame/roms/
QGArray::find: Index 0 out of range

Any idea what that is?

Thanks for your help!

If you don't know exists KMameleon that is a good KDE frontend. It's into kdenobeta KDE CVS. It' stable and usefull. Why do you lost time to develop same type of application? Just contact KMameleon author and give him help if you could do better his application.

maybe you use a NOT XV xmame compilation.

qtmame only support de XV video mode - at moment :-)

try to pass the commands line options to xmame.

Qtmame only use qt libs.
Qtmame is really stable.

KMameleon has a ugly interface and a ugly style. Is a good project too but qtmame is really different.
