Very cool. What did you use for the "maze" effect? I like that! Thank you :)


I love Linux, and the community. Gnome-look provides a daily fix of new content that enjoy perusing.

For the maze effect, I used GIMP's maze generator under Filters > Render > Pattern > Grid. This maze was placed into its own layer, where I used Colors > Color to Alpha to remove one color, and also used Filters > Light and Shadow > Xach-Effect for a slight 3D effect. Finally, I turned down the maze layer's opacity until it looked good.

It does answer it. Thank you :) BTW, have you installed G'MIC 1.6.0.2 yet? If so, has G'MIC disappeared from your GIMP Main menu? It has on mine, and I miss it being there even though it is easy to access in the Filters menu. Just not as easy as in the main menu :)
