Hay que adecuar las librerías que usa Libreoffice para que trabajen con una interfaz basada en las librerias Gtk(GNOME) o QT (KDE)....... sera un trabajo que llevara tiempo pero se puede hacer .

Aunque creo que la decisión del equipo de LibreOffice sera mejorar lo hecho con VCL . Lo cual comprendo .

Disculpa ...por mi pregunta pudiste compilarlo y testear el pequeño widget .
Me gustaría que alguien mas pudiera ejecutarlo .. y dar sus impresiones de como se ve en su pantalla .

Hola .... Estuve hablando con Michael Meeks de LibreOffice libreoffice@lists.freedesktop.org .......... Le pregunte si tenian un API de las librerias VCL que usa LibreOffice ....... Me contestaron que no .... solo tienen apenas información ....me dieron esto ........ https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/WidgetLayout ........ en este link se muestra como se hacen y trabajan las librerias VCL .... http://docs.libreoffice.org/vcl/html/classes.html ..........

todo la interfaz esta basada en estas librerias ........ Para colmo lo malo es que estos widgets no existen en Gtk 3.6 o Qt 4.9 ............
y estas librerias no estan adaptados para trabajar con Gtk3 y Qt 4.9 ..........Gtk3 y Qt 4.9 no tiene las funciones que LibreOffice utiliza en la interfaz ...............
Hay que rescribir todo las librerias VCL para que sean compatibles con Gtk 3.6 o Qt 4.9 , es una enoprme tarea ...............Pero los desabolladores de PYTHON , RUBY , VALA por ejemplo hacen que sus librerías sean compatibles con Gtk 3.6 o Qt 4.9 es un gran trabajo pero lo hacen .

Es una tarea muy grande adaptar VCL a Gtk 3.6 o Qt 4.9 ....pero creo que valdría la pena .

Si consigues un tutorial con ejemplos sencillos con VCL pasame la información ......... estoy con Charles Schulz de LibreOffice ... en GOOGLE + ... https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/105920160642200595669

Really amazing stuff, I think it's the way you have to adopt if you want to bring people to the software : Keep it simple, people just want simplicity and an easy way to do their work. However I would like to keep the possibilities to customize the interface, I think that it's one of the biggest advantages of libreoffice : make it the way you like.

My idea is to share this simple code ...........
The possibilities to customize the interface
is one of the biggest advantages from GNU / Linux.
Gtk + 3.0 is very versatile and aesthetic.
Qt 4.9 (KDE) also , or best.

This code can not be implemented in LibreOffice. The GUI or Interface Graphics of LibreOffice is written with VCL , the VCL libraries are designed for Windows.

shouldn't it be better (for users) if compiled for both 32 / 64 bit?
