This is excellent work! Thanks so much for this. Could you round up the corners more to match OS X and the radii of the close/minimize/maximize buttons better?

Further, could you please up this to a Github repo for future collaboration?

Hi

Thank you for your feed back.

I'm currently looking into opening up a github repository for collaborative work and regarding your suggestions I'm currently examining the css code for all my themes and currently in the process of looking to create brand new icons etc for upcoming releases.

Kind Regards

 Nice Work!

Hi there,

Love the theme, I'm currently using it on Ubuntu 16.04 and it looks great.
Couple of things, tho.
The Firefox link doesn't work, because, I thing, the current version is 46, and the link points to the early version, 45.

The Close/ Cancel button seems a little out of place:

The controls, or buttons, on VLC (also noticed this on Gimp) look out of place:
http://imgur.com/NlKBXiU

On VLC, when you press Stop there is a problem with the Global Menu, all the menu items appear on the VLC window as well:

TIA :D

Appreciate the feed back!

Regarding the link to the Firefox theme thanks for making me aware of this I have now corrected it.

As for your minor issue with vlc and the close button I suspect this is a issue with the qt interface on possible solution to try is to get the qt4 or qt5 configuration tool and set it to the gtk interface after you’ve applied the theme interface log out and log back in and it should hopefully resolve the issue.

kind regards

 Weird in Chrome

Hi there, great theme! I love Arc but I work on a Mac so switching between the two environments is nice with this theme since it has the window borders. One issue, though, is with some applications (like Google Chrome) which makes the windows look like... well, Windows :p http://i.imgur.com/xS1xKMk.png

The original Arc theme makes it look just like all the rest of the theme, but this one doesn't for some reason.

Hi appreciate the feed back!

Regarding your issue with chrome, unfortunately I have no way to replicate the issue however there should be a updated version of the theme very soon which will be 0.9 beta which will fix bugs and update the css.

Kind regards

 Missing icons

The system "show desktop" needs an icon, as well as the new link to the ubuntu gnome software (not the software center).

Appreciate your feed back!

regarding your issue with icons I’m not quite sure what your referring to as icons usually come with icon themes that you install separately if you could post a screen shot and highlight your issue that would be a great help I can then investigate further and also list what OS or distribution and version you are using.

kind regards

 Hi :)

First of all, congratulations for the amount of work you've done here, your theme is amazing...

I also wanted to notify that you've got an error appearing in log file, reporting that panel-button-highlight-wide.svg file is missing. I assume it probably existed in a previous version in /../gnome-shell/assets/ folder.

Well I'm not able to do a screenshot, something's going wrong here, but you can see it in the gnome-shell.css file. The theme is referring to a file named "panel-button-highlight-wide.svg" in folder /../gnome-shell/assets/ but this folder obviously doesn"t exist anymore. So log complains about missing file...

Looking deeper in gnome-shell.css file, it seems there are also other files missing, which are also pointing to the folder above.
You can easily find it by opening gnome-shell.css in gedit or similar, and just do a research with Ctrl+F and /assets/.

This is applicable for all the three themes, OSX-Arc-Shadow, OSX-Arc-White and Flat-Adapta-OSX.

Regards.

Apreciate the info!

thanks ill look into it

the problem is when changing assets there is a lot of css code to update as well and its not always easy to catch everything that’s why I appreciate it when people bring issues like this to my attention so thank you for your contribution.

I’ve up voted you for your contribution!

kind regards

I suspected it was because od that, as since gnome 3.20 a lot of code changes have been done. Anyway you're welcome.

And if you can and have time, take care also about changing files permissions, as folders should only have chmod 755 and files chmod 644, even should we install the themes in /usr/share/themes or ~/.local/share/...
That would be useful and prevent us from changing by ourselves everytime your release a new update.

Regards.
