Description:

Murrina Elegant (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=43590) is a GTK+ style based on Murrine GTK+ engine (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=42755).

Is there someone with talent and time to port this style (and all Murrine if it\'s possible) to Qt/KDE?

 Here's any idea...

I'm not totally familiar with Murrina however, having looked at the screenshot, why couldn't you simply modify QTCurve in order to emulate this theme? I (as I am sure others do as well) prefer one theme that is capable of making a variety of styles.

Yes, I've tried modified the default QtCurve options, but looks very different even with the changes.

If someone could modify QtCurve's code to emulate this style...

Adapting the QTCruve code is what I was proposing (instead of writing something from scratch). Now I believe most of QTCurve could be used to create it however I believe the button gradient in Murrina does not exist. I think you could use (or adapt) the BlueCurve style V shaped arrows to match the ones in the Murrina screenshot.

To get a similar window decoration you could use knifty or flat knifty.

The for the actural buttons etc, use the linspire theme. This is imilar.

seen the ubuntu 6.06 style? some shots here: http://anniyan.wordpress.com/2006/08/15/edgy-eft-ubuntu-610-gnome-216-features/

i think it's great, tough colors should be configurable ;-)

i'd love to see it for KDE/Qt... wish i could write it :(
