A simple theme made to be consistent with this wallpaper: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=139720

Maybe I will make a KSplash theme too.

Tested on these monitor resolutions: 1280x800, 1440x900 px.

Thanks for the report!
I can try different resolutions only with Xephyr. This is what I get at 1280x800: http://img5.imageshack.us/i/screenshot1ls.png/

The black element is a png not scaled at different resolutions, so, I suppose, it's a matter of text size. The theme uses Sans bold 14.

I try: did you customize the KDM settings?

I didn't tweak anything as far as I remember. Just downloaded a theme and installed it.

Perfect! It's what I meant.
But currently I haven't idea what's the problem :(
Tomorrow I will test(I hope) the theme on a real 1280x800px monitor.

Tested on a 1280x800px real monitor. Same problem here.

I think it's solved now.

Thanks to your report I learnt I can't trust in the way I tested KDM themes until now.
