Description:

Multiple SVG backgrounds based on the Lila themes.
Since the backgrounds are SVG they can be scaled to any size without loss of quality.
Screenshot shows a simple green gradient background with a purple gentoo penguin.

If you have the Gimp 2.0 it is as easy as opening them and doing a saveas.

or you could use Sodipodi or Inskape to export them to PNG's..

Hi! Thanks for the wallpapers. I have a problem with the pengiun-image, I open it in Gimp to convert it to png, but it looks like the Penguin wallpaper ain't complete. I only get about half the penguin.

Hmmmm... The Gimp's SVG support is relatively new, it may have something to do with that. I would go ahead and download Inkscape and export it to PNG through that. http://inkscape.org
