Description:

A desktop theme created with artworks of the painter Barbara Kaemper. The content file contains:
- a desktop theme
- a IceWM windows decoration
- color schema for the konsole
- a splash screen
- a kfm background image
- a icon set (750 icons, each icon in 3 sizes, not complete, but growing)
- OpenOffice.org-1.1 toolbar icons (mostly
generated by the script written by Rohit Kaul, thanks for it!)

Install: Download and unpack the content file, have a look to bk.README and run "install.sh" to copy the file to your ~/.kde directory. Change the design, the icons set, the window decoration, the color settings of the konsole and the KFM bg image.

Changelog:

04/19/04 Added 60 icons to the icon set and update the OpenOffice.org toolbar.

01/15/04 Added OpenOffice.org aplication icons, a few icons for kcontrol and a few more application icons.

10/13/03 Added the OpenOffice.org-1.1 toolbar icons and a few icons to the icon theme.

8/19/03 redesign of the theme file and add a icon set. May be, need only the icon set, have a look at my home page. You will find a seperate archiv for every componente.

17/8/03 Set only the correct homepage link and license, no content changes.

Add a splash screen.

Add a kfm background image and higher quality
images for the desktops.

This kind of style is not my personal preference, but this is very nice. Very nicely put together! Keep it up.

How did you make the Icons in the task bar "stack" (2 colums of icons stacked rather than 1 big icon)?

I use the applet called "Schnellstarter" (german, english something like "fast starter" ??? I do not know exactly).

You may get the applet by right-click on the control bar and add the applet. You may add or remove programs from the K-menu to the applet. The program icons you are shown with 16x16 pixel stacked.

Hope it will help you.

I actually really like this. Could you possibly make a darkish red version of this (instead of the pink-like color). I think that would be cool. Really though, this is nice.
