Description:

These icons are bitmapped versions of the quite excellent SVG (vector) icons created by Jakub "Jimmac" Steiner for Nautilus. All references to the copyrighted Ximian logo have been removed, leaving only the juicy GPL goodness.

The original graphics were called "Gorilla", and this is essentially a repackaging, with a handful of new icons to map to the KDE icon requirements a bit more correctly. All icons have been rendered in all sizes, 16x16 to 64x64.

Changelog:

0.4.1a: Fixed the theme so the Toolbar icons and Throbber show up when installed. Thanks goes to Tackat and The Plaid Ranger for technical feedback. Next up: cleaning the edges of the toolbar icons (maybe this weekend).

0.4.1: Initial release (note that Kong's version will match the Gorilla versioning).

If anybody knows why the action icons (which are present and mapped to replace the Konqueror icons) do now show up in the toolbars when you install this theme, please tell me, and I'll update the theme.

not sure why, but i pulled the index.desktop out of iKons 0.58 devel, edited to replace iKons with kong, and dropped it in the kong tar.gz file and reinstalled, and the action buttons show up now.

You beat me to it :). I may still port over the new Gnome 2 stock icons, as I prefer the look of them to the Gorilla theme.

I've got them just about finished, but I'm waiting for them to be finished on their end.

The spirit of GPL... And I think the quote from RMS just suits well.

Thanks a lot!

Great, thanks for doing this! I'm a fan of Jakub's icons too, I used them in Gnome before he released full themes for Nautilus, having them in KDE too is nice.
