Hi,
I've built kad and installed it, but 'make install' doesn't install any of the .xpm or .png icons, so the toolbar just has lots of "missing icon" icons, if you see what I mean.

Ooops, you are right. Forgot some
install commands in the CMakeFiles.
I updated the package, the new
version 0.8.1 should install fine
now. Thanks for the bug report!

Yep, That's fixed it thanks, although there still seems to be one icon missing. The mouse-over tip that pops up says "Previous View".

On my Slackware 12.0 the good compilation sequence is

cd kad-compile
cmake ..
make
make install

the README report

cd kad-compile
cmake ../kad
make
make install

on my system the README sequence give
an error.

On a 64bit-PC I got this error:

/kad-0.8.2-Source/qcadlib/src/engine/rs_layer.cpp: In function ‘std::ostream& operator<<(std::ostream&, const RS_Layer&)’:
/kad-0.8.2-Source/qcadlib/src/engine/rs_layer.cpp:58: error: cast from ‘const RS_Layer*’ to ‘int’ loses precision

I could fix it by changing the cast from (int) to (long).


The very same error occured later:

/kad-0.8.2-Source/qcadlib/src/engine/rs_entity.cpp: In function ‘std::ostream& operator<<(std::ostream&, RS_Entity&)’:
/kad-0.8.2-Source/qcadlib/src/engine/rs_entity.cpp:864: error: cast from ‘RS_Layer*’ to ‘int’ loses precision

By fixing this too, compiling and linking finished with no errors.
