It's not quite "there", if you know what I mean, but I believe it will be...eventually. I like it better than I do Unity but that's not saying much. ;).

It's four months now that I enjoy GNOME-Shell and my previous suspicions about it are totally gone. I find my programs and manage the open windows easier in GNOME-Shell than in Compiz and I like its dynamic number of desktops so much. Its versions 3.02 and 3.2.1 has been quite stable for me (with nVidia).
