Description:

Cyana-3D works well on Gnome3.12. Until such time 3.14 and up is working correctly, I will only create themes for 3.12 and below. The change from 3.10 is bad but not bad enough to least keep most of what I have created working as it should. Gnome Tweak borders are now \"No More\" R.I.P they will be missed greatly!

Enough said as I am no developer and only have my own vision how a desktop should look. My vision entails to bring a more dimensional look along with colorization. Using a color such as Cyan gives quite a remarkable long range of darkness and brightness, so has excited me greatly to continue on bringing this type of theme to your desktop.

I understand not everyone is going to enjoy my vision and I will not enjoy all your visions either, right??? So simply have a heart, if you do not like the looks, find another or revamp this one to your likes. After all, no one charges a dime here and there are more than a handful of themes, so why waste your time bickering with me about why you do not like my theme?

For those that enjoy the many colors and all hovers and actives working as should, this theme am hoping is the ticket. I have gone as far as I can possibly go to show all actions taking place with different coloring of red, amber and green. Great effects of backdrops turning text colors to their direct opposites. All in all is not easy and I really do dare others to try this, before you mock it as to understand the difficulties and the great looks one can obtain.

Gtk-2.0 for those that enjoy LXDE and XFCE has been improved a bit. I have raised text color levels in the appropriate areas, even added upper borders for pcmanfm. Selector is rounded to match its Gnome counterparts in Nemo and Nautilus. The entire look of those desktops comes fairly close to the same look of Gnome which has always been my goal. Most themes look great on Gnome and elsewhere turn to mush, leaving people disgusted and returning to Gnome more quickly. The looks of this theme should satisfy whatever desktop in gtk-2.0 or 3.0 you wish to use.

I also thought would be nice to include a few png\'s(icons) to enhance the LXDE desktop and a stylesheet for terminator in case you would like to match it up with this theme. Gnome shell I created works even in 3.12 which ironically I am still using with current 14.10 named \"Gotham Phoenix\" that I assembled most recently. 1st one was a nightmare due to Gnome3.14 and will leave it at that and hope Gnome Developers will return to creating greatness in their next version. If you have an issue (something not working right, not an opinion) I will do my best to fix it. I can not promise a fix, since I have done my very best to make everything work right and spent over 2months doing so!

WARNING: No PNG\'s, SVG\'s, or JPG\'s included for gtk-2.0 or gtk-3.0. Scripts have no need for them. Only pictures included are for LXDE folder mentioned.

Changelog:

Gnome-Tweak no longer contains borders.

Theme is ONLY FOR GNOME3.12 and will not work on GNOME3.14. Read above statement.

Metacity stylesheet now contains number due to gtk-2.0 not properly reading color I used for text in the active. All others coincide exactly with coloring in gtkrc and gtk.css.

Upper borders added in gtkrc for pcmanfm in an effort to resemble Gnome file managers.

}
}
Entered in gtkrc to create a hiccup that creates rounded selector in pcmanfm menu.

Thank you very much for the compliment and am happy least can get these working right for 3.12 again. Really is great to get a compliment, but appears soon as I get one, rating goes down? Very amazing on here, especially when you see issues on high rated themes, makes me wonder? Will be back with more, soon as they are perfected. I am very picky how things need to look. Best wishes and your compliment means a great deal to me, since you are one of the greatest theme creators yourself!!!

 Too much strain on eye

The theme causes too much strain on eye

1-the gradation is too much from light to dark

2-green fonts over cyan and copper

3- I liked copper on cyan. Try some other shade of copper.

4- Selection color and font color are similar so visibility is low.

5- the gtk3 header bar looks like barrel.either change the design of buttons or the barrel like look of the bar.

Cyan themes are very popular and AFAIK GTK3.14 has none.

Nothing is perfect and one can always figure ways to improve things. I will not stand in your way or complain if you want to make additions/changes and call it your own. Currently, I have no idea how to make Gnome3.14 work correctly and feel if my work can not display properly on it, will stick with versions 3.12 and under. I enjoy active windows working and thus far 3.14 shows no sign of all working. Even problems with Nemo and many other things. Hoping Gnome developers will someday fix these problems when next version comes out.

I put a question mark after strain on the eye, since I personally feel is the direct opposite of what you are claiming, but I also know everyone has their own opinion and respect that! Just figured would let you know that is the theme I use the most. Only time I use the others I make is when I make adjustments.

Have an oldie want to bring back so currently working on that one. Will also pay closer attention to see where those areas are you are having trouble seeing and will fix when time arises. If not good enough, as said please by all means feel free to fix it, rename it do what you like. I enjoy putting out a different style and would be honored if someone would work on this type of style as is not easy to do.
